Been here now 4 times in the last 5 weeks for Sunday Carvery £9.95 Venue always warm and clean. Staff friendly and nothing too much trouble. Food quality is great, Sunday carvery with Giant stuffing balls and Huge Yorkshire Puds.

RIGHT THEN WHERE DO I START Also staff were very unhelpful We were sat there there were about 5 tables around us with no one sat around us and while we were there for 2 hours none of the tables were cleared Spent 120 quid on 6 meals and and drink each bit expensive but I get it. So this is where it gets diabolical we ordered at four minutes past 6 said the food would arrive in 45 minutes which I agreed but it was life less no one in there accept a couple of familys no more than 5 Anyway we ordered 3 steak and ale pies One cheese burger and one hunters chicken and one fajita. They ran out of fish and chips which I understand because they will run out of things Anyway 45 minutes of relentless waiting it still didn't come so we ask it was apparently the next ticket so 20 minutes which over a hour is shambles Any way 20 minutes of more relentless waiting still didn't arrive so we waited another 5 but then a family which came in atleast 20 minutes after us food arrived So we asked agin they said like we are stupid we have a big order even though they had about 7 people and ordered 3 massive spare ribs. Any way they said a other 5 minutes but still didn't arrive after 1 hour and 20 minutes It finally came but nothing special Right it came but the meals wasn't right we ordered one fajita it came as chicken tika we told them they said we ordered it and the cheff thought it was curry so waked on a few poperdoms in the waiters words Anyway we had no cutlery she said you have to get it from round the corner like we should know rember we have paid 120 quid and have to get it ourself I am not being lazy but it's ridiculous it's not a school They also said go and get your own sauces so there we went of on our journey only to realise there's no ketchup so we was not the brightest so we ask she has apparently look everywhere high and low but none appeared in her sight We was not happy so we spoke to a manger they said again lieing she went and got us ketchup and then reviled she's not the manger but a supervisor Which she didn't want to know what we had to say half way though a conversation and suddenly walked away not even a sorry RIDICULOUS We had a 1 hour and 20 minute wait just to REVILE it was crap fajitas and microwaveable pies and also microwaveable rice on the fajita THE FOOD WAS SHOKINGLY BAD half way thought eating our food more customers came in also complaining about how revolting this restaurant is but I wouldn't call it a restaurant And it was more like supper As you can accept we won't be coming back

Come here as a regular we are here on Sunday evening play bingo played the quiz spent money went to the other bar. Main bar asked for a coffee at 8 o’clock and was told no coffee available so much for service that those that don’t drink alcohol thank you. I do appreciate, other non-alcoholic drinks are available. I would’ve liked to have a coffee.

Sunday carvery was a disaster they never had a back up of meat or veg and apart from the gravy it was all cold. The other meals we had were brilliant. I don't like the idea of dogs allowed in an eating establishment. I counted the one night there were 12 humans and 9 dogs

We never actually managed to get served! The barman ignored my husband and another customer, he simply walked passed them both twice, no acknowledgement of their existence. I eventually decided to suggest we leave, the other couple were going to do the same and a lady sitting at a table indicated this was quite normal behaviour. We won't be back, there are so many welcoming places in the area.

The food was way below average not even seasoned and the only sauces available were ketchup and mayonnaise . The surf and turf was wasn’t even warm. If you stay at grange leisure go out for food don’t eat at badgers barn. Great for drinks not food unfortunately

We stayed at The Grange Leisure Park. Firstly what a lovely site. Very very relaxed atmos in the place. They have a pub, show bar and a shop with a cafe to the side. Food is available most of the day on most days (seasonal changes). I had breakfast in “The Kitchen” which is all in the same building as the pub etc. So I am assuming the kitchen cooks for all. However the Kitchen doesn’t show up on goodle so I’ve use the Badgers Barn as reference. Any I had brekky there and it was very very good. All the food was tasty. Perhaps could’ve been a little warmer. However the sausage stole the show. Absolutely beautiful. Has a Costa drink with it and it was around £13 for both. I was full afterwards. I’m told by regulars the food is “hit and miss”’but lately their recently appointed chef seems to be delivering the goods.

Bar staff were amazingly professional especially the young lady Becky! However…. The food was an absolute disgrace! I had ordered the pork tomahawk which had been cut to a medallion size and under seasoned! The so called onion gravy came under flavoured and like water, the Stilton sauce was a total joke, for a start it was meant to be a creamy white sauce as it should, it was brown and tasteless! The chilli con Carney was like eating a tin of tomatoes! No seasoning at all! Reason we didn’t complain was there wasn’t a clear management structure with no name tags to clearly state who they were, and when we finally found the supervisor, we asked if they were on trip advisor and to that I got from the line manager…” they should be” not a great look right? Being a qualified chef for over 20 years it was a total embarrassment to be served this standard of food which is a massive shame cos the holiday park itself is faultless and always would want to return but not for the food’ I shall be seeking other alternatives in the area! But thank you all as a whole for making us feel welcome and I hope that there do not have to experience what my family have tonight

Been to the restaurant two nights for food, the first night was 1hr 30 wait for the food, the 2nd night was a lot faster but the food was not great at all! The service at the bar is slow, orders had to be taken twice, plates arrived at the table 30 minutes apart, just not great

They got us in last minute, but the service and the food was exceptional. The best steak I've had for ages!! Dog friendly, brilliant!

The chicken burger was so burnt and rock hard that my teeth started to hurt when eating it. However, the oddly shaped chips were pretty fun to eat and there was a pretty cool seating area. The service came after a grueling long wait as our whole family had just come from the aqua park next door. This was a very unenjoyable experience overall. We paid so much money for a tiny portion of burnt food.

Food took over an hour with no real apology. Food served on cold plates. Took so long it was a good thing the Childs meal was barely warm so my 8 year old could eat straight away. Fajita mix was bland and disappointing. Burger was over cooked on the edge and was cold on the outside. However the steak pie was nice. All in all I’d say avoid as it was a massive disappointment and put a dampener on the end of the holiday.

Sitting here with 2 kids, been waiting over an hour for our meals, been to the bar to inquire how much longer and have been told 15 minutes, terrible service and staff don’t seem to know what is going on 😡 Needless to say any tips have gone out the window

Worse meal ever, anyone can put a meal in a microwave and wait for the “ding” and call themselves a chef who should have been embarrassed. Had to dig through a mountain of melted cheese to find a bit of lasagne, same with hunters chicken, bizarre chips which were like half hollowed out tubes, the tiny bit of side salad had been but on very hot plates so was a shriveled mess. We begrudge every penny, when we emailed to complain we were met with disinterest and couldn’t care less attitude. Avoid, avoid avoid.

Excellent foh staff food was lovely very understaffed poor foh screamed at by chef who forgot gravy, onion rings etc. Then hard to hear boh screaming at I assume foh coz they were busy when gravy was ready x perhaps the boh should have brought forgotten bits out instead whilst foh were actually busy looking after guests

The Food is delicious, the staff are very friendly and helpful. One night we had a Burger and then the other night we had the Meat Feast Pizza. I also tried The Biscoff Churros with Biscoff Ice cream and that was so delicious, I would totally recommend the Biscoff Churros.

Had a lovely family meal including one family member who needed gluten free. They had an allergen list and a chef came out to confirm food would be cooked separately and even brought out by itself. Staff were very friendly.

Lovely place. Food and service is awful. Dishes came cold and burnt. You're stood waiting at the bar for ages and your table for food. Shame because its got potential

This place can't keep a good chef and it shows. Steadily gone down hill over the last few years with the odd 1 or 2 good weeks. Tonight was the worst yet, burnt pizza, cold chips... basic food for any kitchen surely! Every person that ordered sent food back and drinks given were out of date which made for a miserable time for all. The menu cant be made any more basic so thats not the issue. Bar staff were new and trying there best

Christmas Lunch…. DELICIOUS - but a couple of silly niggles that were annoying but definitely not off-putting….. the welcome was lovely and we were shown to our table where the staff had thoughtfully provided a bowl of water for our two little dogs. Our only negative comments (NOT complaints!!) were the errors so often made in restaurants. First the butter pats were so solid that they wouldn’t spread…. And secondly, the prawn and crayfish salad was lacking a sauce (this was soon remedied with a dish of mayo!!) and that is it ! The food was DELICIOUS, the service was Impeccable and we have already started to recommend Badgers Barn to friends and relatives…. AND - having checked out their menu, we certainly look forward to eating there many more times in the future…..

Great food at a decent price. Staff polite but was a long wait at the bar and a long wait for the food. Shame but coukd be resolved by having more than one barman. Had a great time so will come again

Coastfields have done a brilliant job here with this site. The pub/restaurant is excellent. Food is above top notch. Its a nice place to go either for lunch or simply to unwind. Its comfortably out of town from Mablethorpe so away from the troublespots.
